This is a catalogue of the Helsinki Photography Biennial. Catalogue presents all the artists in a biennial according to the exhibition venues. Every artist has democratically two pages and one spread.
The catalogue is multi lingual that is always a challenge. In general I like to make books as separate editions for every language. This is because people usually read only one language. If there are texts in more than one language, then these parts are useless for this particular reader and it is not an optimal situation. But sometimes one has to make a compromise on this. And exhibition catalogues are practical tools for temporal use anyway.
