Concept & graphic design of the publication.
Timo Kelaranta is a famous Finnish photo artist. Timo works doing still lifes that he then photographs. Timo’s working method is very serial. He works in a small scale and very often he uses coloured papers, bends and rolls them and makes still lifes from those. As an outcome he makes colorful abstract images. For this book we wanted to present these works in a grid format.
Inside the book there is smaller size folio that is bound inside to book. It contains Timo’s wife Auli’s text. It is kind of a small personal letter where I used uncoated paper stock. In the end of the book there is an index that shows all the works as small thumbnail images.
